Montana Modern Fine Art is hosting a celebration of the tea pot in all its forms.
We’d love to have you join us! We’re inviting artists to have fun and create a vessel from their imagination.
Your three dimensional tea pot can be as small as 2x2x2” or as large as 20x20x20” maximum size. It can be made out of clay, glass, wood, metals, or fibers. Almost anything.
Your tea pot may be functional or sculptural, it can be totally abstract or more realistic. The design is up to you.
The opening for our Exotic Tea Pot Show will be held on Friday, November 4th, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Montana Modern Fine Art located at 127 Main Street, Kalispell, MT.

* Deadline for submission is Midnight, September 30, 2022
* Applicants will be notified of acceptance no later than Tuesday, October 4, 2022
* Artwork must be in the gallery no later than Saturday, October 15, 2022
* Each artist may submit up to five pieces of their own original artworks.
Montana Modern Fine Art may choose to accept some, none, or all of an artists entries.
Images of the work should represent the actual artwork as closely as possible. If chosen for the show and upon arrival in the gallery a piece deviates significantly from the image used to select it in terms of construction, color, size, shape, ect. Montana Modern Fine Art reserves the right to not show the work.
By entering the competition, artists whose works are selected for the show grant Montana Modern Fine Art the right to use submitted images on the gallery’s website, social media sites, and on printed material for promotional purposes only. Montana Modern Fine Art retains no copyrights to the artist’s works.
Media / Preparation:
*This exhibit is open to all three dimensional media.
*All tea pots must stand on their own.
*Please clearly label each artwork (on bottom or attached) with your name, the artwork title, medium, size (in inches) and price.

Sales:
Artwork submitted to this exhibit must be for sale. Artists are to set the retail prices for their work. All sales are split 50/50 with the gallery. Montana Modern Fine Art may offer, at their discretion, up to a 20% discount. In the event of a discount, Montana Modern Fine Art and Artist evenly split discounted price.
Eligibility:
Open to all artist in the United States.
Must be 18 years of age or older. Artists may only submit their own original artworks.
Shipping & Delivery:
Artists can deliver their artwork to Montana Modern Fine Art starting Tuesday, October 4, 2022. The last day for delivering artwork is Saturday, October 15, 2022. If shipping artwork, please label all packing materials with your name. Shipped work should arrive in a reusable container with return postage or prepaid shipping documents and correct return label.
At the close of the exhibit unsold artwork will be available for pickup starting January 17, 2023. Shipped artwork will be returned between January 16 - February 28, 2023 assuming return postage or prepaid shipping documents were included. Please contact the gallery if picking up or shipping requires special arrangements or if a representative will be picking up your work.
Liability:
Montana Modern Fine Art will insure all artwork during the exhibition against all physical loss or damage from any external cause. Insurance is limited to the wholesale value at the time of loss. If damage occurs and the piece can be repaired, liability will be limited to the cost of such repair.
Agreement:
Submission of work constitutes an agreement to the conditions set forth and that the decisions of the gallery are final. Artists may not withdraw accepted entries before the close of the exhibition. Montana Modern Fine Art is not responsible for refunding entry fees for entries that do not meet the above requirements.
