Rachel Dragon was born and raised in Kalispell, Montana. She studied photography and took classes in jewelry design and ceramics at Flathead Valley Community College. Rachel has an eye for detail.. her jewelry stands out with intricate clasps, hand chosen beads, and sterling silver components. Her pottery is simple yet elegant with pieces both hand built and wheel thrown and details added with handmade stamps, wax, and hand painted glaze designs.

Artist Statement :

I’ve always loved touching the earth and have been collecting rocks and other wonders of nature for as long as I can remember. Being raised by artists, I had endless opportunities to dabble in different art forms. My first passion was photography and I’ve always enjoyed working with clay, beads, and mixed media. Currently my focus is on creating beaded jewelry and pottery.
