“I find great joy in collecting things that, to me, are beautiful. I weave into my art paper, poetry, photography, crystals, dried flowers, leaves and insects, images cut out from greeting cards, old calendars and books, and bits of my own journals. I arrange images and items together in ways that please me and inspire me to express my human experience in the visual realm. At some point I take a digital imprint and explore the world of post-processing, sometimes layering in photographs from the library of my life. Finally, I transfer the image to a canvas, wood, or other surface to be viewed and appreciated.

My greatest inspiration has been love. Love I feel for myself and my own process of expression through creative exploration, love in all of my relationships, and receiving the gift of knowing true love. Each image I create represents a whisper of a moment of love.”
