Heck received her MFA in Visual Studies from PNCA in Portland, OR, and holds a BFA in Painting from Pacific Lutheran Universities Tacoma, WA.  She has shown regionally at Museum of Contemporary Craft, Hap Gallery, Worksound International, Stumptown Gallery, CEI Works, Disjecta, Wildfang, and COCA Seattle among others.  Heck is also a proud co-founder of Killjoy Collective, and alternative gallery based in SE Portland.

 

Heck currently resides in Northwest Montana with her husband, daughter, and studio pup, Dot.  The three of them enjoy walks in the woods, good beer, good design, and good company.
